In case the constant back-and-forth 2025 TikTok ban isn’t alarming enough, here’s a quick story from early in my career that proves email has and always will be more powerful than social media.
In the summer of 2019, I was freshly graduated from a small college where I played college baseball in middle-of-nowhere Ohio, with a degree that I’d never use.
Thankfully, I had entrepreneurial passion, so I purchased a Facebook Ads course that I put to use as fast as possible in order to avoid getting a “real job.”
That spring, I managed to earn a few grand per month running Facebook Ads for clients. It was nothing to write home about, but at least I was 23 and living on my own terms, more or less.
